How tired is everyone of the garbage coming from Washington and how it is covered by the media? I am a middle of the roader that leans a bit to the right. I lean to the right because I find it so difficult to stomach some of the stupidity spewed by left-wingers. Dont get me wrong, I tired of the crap that comes from the right at times as well, however, more often than not, I can at least listen to versions that tip right. When they tip left logic and commonsense seem to disappear. I wish there was someone on the left that was practical that I could listen to however I still cannot find anyone. For the most part the mainstream media tries to remain someplace near the middle with a recognizable lean left. They tend to jump on stories that make right wingers look bad and tend to gloss over the stories about the left wingers. This I believe is what causes the poplularity of people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and the Fox News Network. We are so proliferated by the left leaning media that we seek some kind of balance. Intelligent people listen to both sides and make their own decisions.

Although I know the squabbles between the two parties has existed since the Founding Fathers. Granted they were not the same parties we have now, the divide was there. The often bitter rivalry and literal hatred was possible more so. But in the end, decisions were made for the good of the country and the people. I fear today that we are way beyond the good of the people, and only look at the good of the inflated egos in Washington. Senators and Representatives do not have a realistic grasp of everyday people in America. How can they, they do not live OUR lifestyle. They do not know what it really feels like to struggle. They can claim all they want however their true desires are to push personal agendas no matter the cost. Without a realistic understanding of how WE feel and what we face down here in the “bust my ass” world of “work a day” people, I cannot have confidence that Mr. Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi or Barney Frank has a clue what is right and wrong for US. I would have named a Republican however there does not appear to be anyone in that party that has the “balls” to stand tall. (not that either of the afore mentioned do). Mr. Obama I am more than willing to give you a chance as long as you do not put me and my family at risk from terrorism, economic failure through taxation and give me and my family a chance to exist and thrive. If you lean too far to the left or the right, I am sure the right is not an option, you will certainly fail. I was a teenager when Jimmy Carter was going to fix all our problems, especially the economic problems. He failed miserably and was ousted after one term. Mr. Obama I hope you are smart enough to not listen to the far left or the far right but look out for US from someplace in the middle to protect US now and in the future.

President Barack Obama

Finally! It’s over, the election and the campaigning is finally over. Something needs to be done it drags on way too long. But back to the topic. Democrats could have put Elmer Fudd on the ballot and he would have won. George W has done just enough things wrong and the fact that he is a Republican almost guarantees a Democrat was going to win the White House. I am just glad it wasnt Hilary Clinton. And, now the House and Senate are dominated by Democrats just as it was when George W took office and they were dominated by Republicans. The House and Senate with their majority has two years to CRAM their agenda down the American people’s throats and try to push this country in a predominantly liberal direction. Watch out, taxes are on their way up and expect some of your personal liberties to be taken away as well. I encourage you to pay close attention to what comes out of Washington, not what Barack will do, but what Nancy Pelosi, Harry Ried and the other idiots will be doing. There is where your real fear needs to be focused.

Back to Barack. I didnt vote for him but then voting for a Democrat for President goes against my moral convictions. However I am more than willing to give him a chance. I think if he can stay away from those far left retards he may actually accomplish positive things. He is young, not a part of the Washington culture and appears to have a solid agenda. Is he a JFK, no way, is he a RFK, no way but if he is even a little like Abraham Lincoln as he claims, we may be ok. I think we may find that he is more of a moderate than we thought and if he wants to be successful that is where he needs to stay. This country is 21% Liberal, 33% Conservative and 56% Moderate. You can argue the numbers but the basic percentages are correct. We lean more to the center and the right than we do the left. It just appears we are left because the media is predominantly left and they think everyone in the world thinks like they do. Thankfully because they are so left leaning in the media it has turned most people off and pushed them to the middle and the right. Thank you to the media.

Back to Barack. Good luck, and I hope with your overwhelming support from the voters of this great country, that you possess the power and the courage to face down the extreme left in Washington and do good things for us all. I am counting on you, dont let me down.
